College open doors

On september 11 2023, my college had it's famous open doors. I had signed up previously since all of my friends were planning on volunteering. I arrived late (oops) and I got a sainte anne shirt to be more noticeable to the invitees incase they have questions! I started at the door. I saw the big 11 am rush, so many people came! I said over 200 greetings in less than 5 minutes. After the rush, I handed out pamphlets with my friends, Amanda and Ariane but they needed someone to replace at the door so I went back to that position. It was COLD but the kind lady at the reception handed me her coat. The staff is truly caring. I felt sad for my friend Candice who was outside saying greetings to people. At around 2pm, me and my door collegue were freezing so the reception lady got us hot choclates from the réfectoire coffee shop. They are truly underrated and gave us the energy to hold the door and greet people for another hour. Everyone was patiently waiting for 3pm. While waiting, I saw Ugo Cavenaghi who's the ceo of the school, I thought he was a parent so I gave him pamphlets and he said 'don't you know who i am' in a funny way then I asked him If he was the man on the big poster and he said yes but with less hair! He's funny. After 5 hours of volunteering and eating numerous

cupcakes, it was over! We took a group photo and left!
