Coaching défi 48

as a entrepreneurship student with a candle business, I was asked in early may to coach a team for 10th graders for their annual défi 48 at the Collège Sainte-Anne. In 48 hours, they have to create a successful business with as little as possible initial funding.

This experience was full of highs and lows and stress. My team chose to start a cleaning business and our first task was shopping and comparing prices to make sure they get the most out of their bucks. With Johanne Hudon’s expertise in business, they were able to find clients quickly and get to cleaning. Half of the team was cleaning, while the other half were working on marketing and finance. I helped Raphael a with the branding and creating pamphlets, while Sophie created invoices and managed the bank account.

Two days went by fast and our team won second place, with the most profits made!

Every single one of them were incredibly hard working and it motivated me a lot to see their drive.

I was supposed to mentor them, but I feel like they mentored me back.
