attending the first Frequence Gala

On June 15th, I was lucky enough to be invited to the first Frequence Gala. Their goal is to award scholarship to remarkable black youth, aged 12 to 21, who are involved in 11 categories such as innovation, entrepreneurship, academic perseverance, sports, music, social media and much more.

After getting invited, I noticed my younger brother's and I favorite influencer would be attending, therefore we got extra tickets. The night was amazing. There was some dancing, some positive affirmation, handsome people, amazing food, incredible DJ and of course, notable nominees. I even recognised some people from the West Island Black Community Association and from Hike Mtl (an organization I volunteer with)

I did not win anything, but I still have 3 other tries! It was a really great event and we (me and my younger brother) had the time of our life! It was refreshing to say the least.
